Goodreads Description

This second novel begins in 1940, immediately after the first book ended. Having escaped Miss Peregrine’s island by the skin of their teeth, Jacob and his new friends must journey to London, the peculiar capital of the world. Along the way, they encounter new allies, a menagerie of peculiar animals, and other unexpected surprises.

My Review

I listened to this on audiobook and I must say that I enjoyed it much more than reading it. I also thought that this book was so much better than the first (not to say that the first wasn’t great) because there was just so much action and it was so difficult to push pause. It was very fast paced and we met a lot of new characters. There were plot twist and it was just really enjoyable. I wasn’t planning on finishing the series (or is this on a trilogy?) and I just read it because I needed it for a criteria but I really am interested in continuing!

Rating: 4/5 stars
