Alice by J.M. Sullivan Review

Alice: The Wanderland Chronicles(Click Here to Add to your Goodreads Shelf)

Goodreads Description

“Always protect your queen.”

Ever since the outbreak of the Plague, life hasn’t been easy, and for seventeen-year-old Alice Carroll, it just got worse. Her sister, Dinah, has contracted the ‘un-deadly’ Momerath Virus and without a cure, will soon be worse than dead. She’ll be momerath.

Alice must leave the safety of the Sector and venture into Momerath Territory to find the antidote – if it exists. Chasing a rumor about a mysterious doctor with the cure, Alice falls down the rabbit hole into Wanderland, where ravenous momerath aren’t the only danger lurking.

My Review

I was given this ARC by Netgalley for an honest review. Now let me start by saying that I have never read Alice in Wonderland nor have I watched the movie. I know the basis of it and I think this was a great spin on the concept. I recognized the names of the people and I loved the way the author twisted the roles to fit the post apocalyptic scenario. Basically Alice goes on a mission in search for a cure to save her sister Dinah from turning into a momerath. Alice is fierce and pretty much a badass. I think she was a strong female character.

Rating I gave: 4 out of 5 stars

Would I recommend this: Yes
